When I first learned that we would be creating our own blogs online, this is what ran through my mind… “OMG…How cool!!…O wait!...what the heck is a blog?!?!” LOL.
A blog wasn’t something that I could honestly say that I had done before. I had somewhat of an idea of what a blog was or consisted of, but never imagined that I would have my very own blog set up!!
I knew that a blog was like a public journal for a person to jot down their ideas, feelings about a topic, for ranting off on a topic and basically just a freestyle journal. The other thing that I knew about it was that it was updated in public view for the world to read and comment if they’d like on your postings. Which I find it interesting!!
At first setting up a blog just seems too complicated and a lot of work to keep up with, but after setting up my blog…it was actually pretty easy and a cool experience on just how differently you can set up your blog from everyone else’s and all. Sure, everyone has a blog, but each and every one of them is different in the person’s own perspective of what they wanted their blog to be and look like.
Setting up the blog was easy breezy!! It just took a few bits of information here and there and BOOM…I was on my way to an open world of blogging!!

ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing. I was concerned with how much time we would have to devote to this but it's not so much. I think it could get really interesting if I found a blog for a cause I believed in. Good post!
ReplyDeleteI agree! What a neat concept to help teachers and teacher candidates to communicate despite barriers in distance, teaching styles, etc!
